Happy Tuesday everyone! I feel like things have been in full force lately. Between getting ready for graduation, keeping up with the blog and trying to have a social life, I’ve been super busy. Not to mention that little thing called schoolwork that I still have to do for a few more weeks. It’s been so tough watching all of my friends graduate and realizing I still have month left. I am beyond ready to graduate and get to enjoying my summer. Only a few weeks left and I’ll be done! Then I can focus solely on my blog, I can’t wait!
I took photos for this outfit a couple weeks ago, but unfortunately with my busy schedule I haven’t been able to write a post for it. I’m really excited to share it with you though! A little black dress is an absolute closet staple for any female, and let me tell you that Tobi has the best ones!
I got this dress from Tobi before I went away on my trip over the winter. Since I was headed to such tropical places, I didn’t feel that an LBD would be appropriate. I just recently pulled it out of my closet to get some wear and oh my goodness I’m in love! One thing I absolutely love about this dress is the v-neck line. I sometimes have trouble finding v-neck lines that work for me, but I love that this one is low but not super low. The length is also perfect. I recently wore this dress to a graduation in Boston, and I felt very classy. This dress looks great with a pair of ankle strap heels, like I have pictured, or even a pair of chunk heels. At the graduation I wore it with these heels and it looked great!
Now let’s talk about these amazing heels! I have been dying for a pair of these, but at $80 for a pair of Steve Madden’s, I wasn’t able to afford them. Seriously, this college budget is killing me. Luckily, though, I found these dupes at Target for $27! They’re seriously twins, and at such a reasonable price I couldn’t pass it up. They also come in blue, light pink, tan and red, so you could easily find a color to match any outfit. I also love the heel height. Like I’ve mentioned before, I’m terrible at walking in heels, but these are the perfect height. They would also look great with a jean skirt and a blousy top! I can’t wait to see what I can pair them with this summer!
I’ve added a few of my favorite picks from Tobi down below that you can shop. You can also get 50% off all dresses on the site with the code WR50. The offer ends Wednesday though, so get shopping!
I hope you all have a great week! I’m headed to Maryland for Memorial Day Weekend on Friday, but I’ll be sharing my trip with you all on Instagram, so be sure to follow along! @beautifullyclassicblog
