There’s something about farmer’s markets that I have always loved. Maybe it’s the homegrown, natural and organic products you can find, or maybe it’s the way the farm owners and store owners treat you like you’re an old friend. Whatever the case, I’ve always been drawn to the amazing farmers markets on Cape Cod. So, when my mom asked if I wanted to go to Barnstable for breakfast at The Blue Plate Diner followed by a trip to the Barnstable Farmer’s Market and the Barnstable Organic Farm, I jumped at the opportunity. Breakfast consisted of a delicious Greek Omelet followed by a walk across the street to the Farmer’s Market. We bought some fresh fruits and veggies from the tent belonging to the local farm as well as some fresh cut steaks. After the Farmer’s Market, we headed to the local Organic Farm to buy a couple bags of their fresh lettuce. I’ve always loved eating farm to table products and it’s so easy to do with all of the Farmer’s Markets on Cape Cod!
My outfit details are down below as always as well as a few photos of my trip around Barnstable.
