We’re heading into the hottest part of summer…mid July. As you all know, my very first post on my blog back in December was my skincare routine. Well, obviously during the winter, skin tends to be much more dry than in the summer, especially in Miami where the humidity is at least 75% every. single. day. So, I decided to write a quick blog post to share with you my skincare routine for the summer, in case any of you were having some skincare troubles – shininess, acne, blackheads, redness, etc. – and needed some suggestions on products that I swear by.
Below are the four products from The Body Shop that I use along with an in depth description of why I love each one! I love doing skincare posts so please comment with questions you may have or skincare posts you would like to see from me in the future!
So, in all seriousness, The Body Shop is my go-to for all of my scrubs, cleansers, toners, lotions…anything to do with my face it most likely comes from The Body Shop or the dermatologist, that’s how amazing I think their products are. Below is my skincare routine that I use day and night using all products from The Body Shop Tea Tree line. Tea Tree is amazing at treating blemished skin and mattifying your skin so it is less shiny and less likely to build up grease throughout the day. I start with the Tea Tree 3 in 1 wash.scrub.mask. This product is great because, as you can probably tell from the title, you can use it as a face wash, face scrub, or face mask all in one bottle! Next, I take a cotton pad and put some Tea Tree Skin Clearing Mattifying Facial Toner on a cotton pad and apply it to my skin. Toner is awesome because it really gets every last bit of bad dirts and oils out of your skin, allowing your pores to breathe. My last step for the day is the Tea Tree Mattifying lotion, which really keeps my skin matte in this hot, hot weather. At night time, before I go to bed, I use the Tea Tree Night Lotion which works on any blemishes I have while I sleep. The whole Tea Tree line from The Body Shop really is amazing and definitely worth a try. It’s also much more inexpensive than most skincare products, making it even more worth it!
